A synthetic soft shackle made from 12-strand UHMWPE fibre with a protective sleeve — light, flexible and easy to operate even with gloved hands. It is a safe alternative to a metal bow shackle: the soft construction avoids the brittle failure mode associated with metal hardware that has been overloaded or shocked.
